Pro-Israel: A Biblical Perspective
What is the first thing you think of when you hear the term Pro-Israel? Most people inevitably go to support of the state/nation of Israel as a whole.
Being Pro-Israel is to honor the heartbeat of God’s covenant—past, present, and future. It’s about recognizing a divine storyline that began and continues through the ages.

The Nation of Israel is not limited to the land within the country of Israel; but it includes every person in the world whose blood goes back to Noah and his forefathers.
God said, “I will bless those who bless you…and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”—Genesis 12:3
Israel was chosen not for superiority, but for servanthood—to carry the promise of redemption. The possibility of being pro-Israel could mean blessing what God has blessed, even when the journey is complex.
If you stand with God and His desire to restore Israel, as was His promise in the Word, this could make you pro-Israel. Not just a desire to restore the land, but the hearts of Israel’s people back to Him. Israel’s history is marked by exile and return, judgment and mercy. Ezekiel 37:3 says “Can these dry bones live?”

Praying for the peace of Israel and for prophecies past and future as Psalm 122:6 says, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure.” Psalm 122:6 Supporting Israel biblically includes praying for the peace of Israel; not division. It means longing for the day when Messiah reigns from Zion, bringing justice and healing.
